If you would rather go scuba diving than mule riding, Jules’ Undersea Lodge located 21 miles off the coast of Key Largo, Florida, is an underwater vacation destination. In fact, you must be a certified scuba diver to stay at this incredible location.

Bald Head Island in North Carolina
If you prefer a remote beach destination, look no further than Bald Head Island in North Carolina. Accessible only by ferry, it takes roughly 20 minutes to reach this beautiful spot. Once on the island, your only transportation is via bike, golf cart, or your own two feet.
Bald Head boasts an impressive 14 miles of pristine beachfront, along with a golf course and maritime forests. Accommodations consist of cozy cottages with gorgeous views of the Atlantic Ocean.
